Congress President Rahul Gandhi today sought assistance of Indians living in Bahrain to "fight forces of hatred" in India, reported ANI.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi had a "euphoric reception" on his arrival at the Kingdom of Bahrain on Monday.

"Congress party has questioned them in the state".

"There is a serious problem in the country and you can solve this problem. We will update it (Indian politics)". "You will see a dramatic change in the Congress party, you would believe you can trust", he said. But, we are fighting on the ground.

Rahul also underlined the BJP's performance in the recently concluded Gujarat elections and said that though the state is the BJP's bastion it siphoned a narrow win. He said the challenge before the Congress was to improve itself and to present before India a "new vision". "We can not imagine an India that does not belong to all of us", he said.

He said that Indian politics is "quite a unusual experience" and noted that signalling by politicians in the country is "wrong" which leads to incidents of hate and violence against people.

What China does in two days that takes India two years. Gulf countries have the biggest Indian diaspora of more than 35 lakh.

Implementation of the Goods and Services Tax and subsequent slowdown in the manufacturing sector was expected to drag down India's growth to 6.5 per cent in 2017-18, official data showed on Friday. He said the failure to provide jobs is resulting in enormous anger and unrest in India. "Today, the only thing India talks about is what you are allowed to eat, who is allowed to protest and what we can say or rather what we cannot say", said Gandhi. "There should not be silence".

He said when such crimes take place, the government is silent on them and that should not happen. He said jobs can be created through small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The Congress also said, "Your talent, skills, tolerance, patriotism is what India needs today".

"When we come to power we will definitely pass the women reservation bill in the Parliament". His two-week visit to U.S. last September had signaled what is being seen as the turnaround of the Congress leader, whom critics have accused of a lack of leadership skills.
