  • Ubisoft Details First Assassin's Creed Origins Expansion The Hidden Ones

January will see the first DLC, The Hidden Ones, become available across all platforms and will be free for Season Pass holders.

As previously reported, The Hidden Ones expansion adds a whole new region to Assassin's Creed Origins.

Ever since Assassin's Creed Origins launched late last October, Ubisoft has supported it through the months with a number of title updates, events, and items.

Here, players will get stuck into a fresh adventure set in new Roman-occupied territory, which the French publishing giant claims will offer a "vast" new story.

In a recent "Developer Q&A" posted on the game's official website, the developers acknowledged the players who have been calling for the release of a New Game+ mode. Along with that, the Heka chests item pool will be updated and it will add items from the Nightmare and First Civilization, the Gladiator and Wacky packs.

The Hidden Ones also launches this month. Other than that, a new option to sell outfits will be implemented to the game.

The expansion will introduce a new story, full of new locales and characters, as well as raise the level cap from 40 to 45. We don't know much about this expansion apart from that, nor do we have a concrete release date. From January 9-16, players can face off against the deity Anubis. Upcoming updates to the In-game Store and Ubisoft Club include the Almighty Pack on January 16 and For Honor Pack on January 30, as well as the Warden's Oath Outfit coming to the Ubisoft Club on January 30.
