Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has slammed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's conduct in forcing a move to Arsenal and has warned other BVB players from doing the same.

The Gunners then moved to replace the forward with the deadline-day signing of Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund and the Gabon striker admits the chance to again play with former Dortmund team-mate Mkhitaryan helped convince him to move to north London. "The next player who tries to put us under pressure by withholding performances or even going on strike will not get a pass and will instead sit in the stands", Watzke told FAZ earlier this week.

"They are all aware of it".

"Aubameyang committed himself to us for this season, especially as a reaction to Dembele's transfer".

Dortmund are still reeling after losing so many star players.

Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan both moved to Arsenal in the January transfer window, with the club reshaping their attack after Alexis Sanchez's departure for Manchester United.

Mkhitaryan registered a hat-trick of assists on his home debut against Everton, while Aubameyang got off the mark with his first goal for the club.

He said: "First of all sorry for everything that happened last month".

"But I only wanted to be honest and always gave everything for the club".

"Maybe it wasn't the best way but everyone knows that Auba is insane - and yes, I'm a insane boy!"

"It made sense for me to take a new direction in my career".

"I don't know if I could have done it like Auba did", he told SportBild via Sport Witness.
