Sex abuse scandal in Haiti causes UK to review Oxfam ties

Oxfam said it had no report of the Chad allegations, but had introduced steps to prevent sexual exploitation of the vulnerable people they deal with after the Haiti revelations.

The charity should immediately hand over its entire 2011 investigation into the sexual misconduct to the appropriate prosecuting authorities and the Charity Commission, she said.
The Charity Commission said it had written to Oxfam as a matter of urgency to request further information and establish greater clarity.
