  • Monster Hunter: World to get Devil May Cry content soon

In the meantime, what Monster Hunter World guides and coverage do you want to see more of here on MP1st?

Capcom has revealed today all the details on the content included in the upcoming first major update of Monster Hunter: World, which launches on March 22.

As well as the weapon changes, the March 22 update will add the ability to edit your in-game character after character generation is complete, something that wasn't possible before.

Mark your calendars: the Deviljho is headed to the New World, devouring everything in its path, and will be arriving on March 22 with our first free major title update (PS4 version 2.00 / Xbox One 2.0.0.0).

Changes are incoming for nearly every weapon type in Monster Hunter World - so how does your weapon of choice fare?

We'll have more details on this limited-timed event pretty soon but make sure you mark your calendars so you don't miss out!

Another of the new features of this update is the launch of the Spring Blossom Fest, an event that will run from April 5 through April 18 PT or April 5 through April 20 GMT, bringing fun activities, special decorations to the Celestial Pursuit and plenty of special-themed food.

As if that wasn't enough, the Spring Blossom Fest will also introduce two new weapons - rocket-powered sword and the Wyvern Ignition.

We'll be sharing a more comprehensive list when the title update goes live.

The voucher allows you to change your Hunter gender and appearance in full, but you can not edit anything about your Palico or your hunter's name. One extra detail worth noting is the introduction of Character Edit Vouchers, which will allow you to change your hunter's gender and appearance.

Speaking of player feedback, we have heard your requests to have the ability to re-edit your in-game character, so we're giving everyone one free Character Edit Voucher on March 16.

A quality of life improvement will be added, as well, with the option to return to the gathering hall after a quest has been completed.
